Mr Big are in the studio again. They're working on 3 new songs for a "greatest hits" CD which probably will be entitled "Big, Bigger, Biggest".
The new songs are "Stay Together", "Not One Night" and "Unnatural". **("Unnatural" features Paul Gilbert on lead vocals for the first time!).
Look for this album in the CD stores and shops in November!

Also if you live in Southeast Asia, it's going to be released Mr Big show for Channel V at the Singapore Hard Rock Cafe.

Probably now the band is going to take some time to relax, after 8 years of continuing tours...

Take Cover will be in the Movie Tracks of MEGAMAN, but probably this motion picture won't be on in Italy. In the same compilation there'll be song of Sugar Ray and Skid Row.

Pat and Billy both picked"Take Cover" and "Jane Doe". The album's title was inspired by a photograph they found of a man made by hay behind a steering wheel, and seemed particularly appropriate because the first line of "Out of the Underground" starts with "Hey Man".

Paul owns more than 70 guitars.
Paul has taped instructional videos for Japan, one focused on classical cello and violin pieces on guitar, theo other "A history of pop and rock guitar according to me". They may come out elsewhere later!

While Pat has contributed musically to albums in the past and wrote some lyrics for one song on each prior album ("Wind Me UP", "Road to Ruin" and "Mr Gone"), he lyricised two tunes on Hey Man. Pat and his wife Karen, who works in Human Resources at Disney, recently bought a home in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley that turned out to be perfect: it was previously owned by a musician and has a soundproofed room for him to practice in.

A Kiss pinball machine is one of many interesting collectibles around the Gilbert house. Gifts from Japanese fans are everywhere, including a sushi clock, Godzillas of all kinds, giant stuffed toy koi fish, a sumo wrestler figure and artwork. Paul's wife, Patricia, has a room devoted to her Barbie collection.
